ORION VERSION 4.4 FEATURES NEW REPORTING SYSTEM, ADDING 26+ NEW
REPORTS TO FACILITATE PRODUCTIVITY ANALYSIS
ATLANTA, GA - MARCH 29, 2011 –– Orion Law Management Systems, Inc. (www.orionlaw.com), provider of Orion, a leading Financial, Firm, and Practice Management software for small, mid-sized and large law firms, announces the upcoming release of Orion Version 4.4 which includes a new reporting system with 26+ new reports. The enhanced reporting features offer improved formats with more customizable options which substantially increase a firm’s ability to better select, output and analyze data.
According to Orion President Paul Yelton, “Reporting has always been a strong component of Orion, and the new reporting system incorporated into Orion 4.4 serves to increase flexibility and accuracy in productivity analysis for our customers. We are very proud to release this new technology, especially as law firm accountability and precision in billing is increasingly important.”
With Orion 4.4’s new reporting system, several inclusion and exclusion-type rules allow users to more easily filter certain data (Clients, Matters, Attorney Assignments, Types of Law, Practice Groups, etc.). After running a report, users can save their preferences, adding the report to a list of “favorites” which can be collated and run at scheduled intervals as a batch. Reports can now also be exported, maintaining all formatting to PDF, RTF, CSV, HTML and ASCII Text while specific data elements can be selected and distributed to Microsoft® Access® and Excel®, or presented graphically using Orion’s built-in features.
Paul Yelton comments, “With Orion 4.4, users will not need to understand sophisticated relational databases in order to customize their reports. These new forthcoming reporting features are intuitive, straightforward and easy to use.”
